Being active in the workplace

A person's well-being and performance depend greatly on their habits. Being active is key in this regard: at least 30 minutes of activity per day reduces the risk of many chronic diseases, such as heart/cardiovascular disease, obesity, type 2 diabetes and depression.

Not being active in the workplace can also lead to absences from work. Incorrect or monotonous postures while at work can lead to muscle and joint pain.

Such complaints resulting from a poor posture can be kept in check by varying your posture and regularly carrying out relaxation exercises. Courses and workshops held by external providers will show you how.
